As our Trade Marketing & Event Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind how our brand MushRoots shows up in retail and urban environments. You will bring our brand to life at the point of sale (POS) and beyond -creating activations that turn shoppers into loyal fans.
Trade Marketing & POS Activation: Own, plan, execute, and improve our trade marketing strategy. Work closely with Key Account Management to develop and implement impactful concepts that drive visibility, trial, and sales directly on the shelf and in-store.
Customer Insights: Collaborate with the sales team to deeply understand retail customers, shopper behavior, and category dynamics. Translate insights into effective POS campaigns, materials, and activation concepts that exceed expectations and welcome out-of-the-box ideas.
In-Store Activations & Sampling: Plan and execute tastings, samplings, and promotional activities in supermarkets. Lead and coordinate external agencies and student teams responsible for in-store tastings and activations. Work with Product Marketing teams to also use this as a weekly consumer insights channel to learn about our shoppers first-hand.
Events, Pop-Ups & Urban Activations: Conceptualize and manage brand experiences beyond retail, including pop-ups, events, and urban activations in collaboration with restaurants and partner locations. Sprinkle the mushroom magic into urban first-mover consumer groups and create real brand fans.
Agency & Stakeholder Management: Manage and brief external agencies, ensuring high-quality execution of campaigns, activations, and POS materials.
KPI Tracking & Performance: Define and track KPIs for trade marketing initiatives. Analyze performance across retailers and regions to continuously optimize activations and support sales growth.
Collaboration: Act as the key link between marketing and sales, ensuring consistent messaging and seamless execution across all touchpoints.
