Intern Business Development (m/f/d)

Your mission

We are seeking a motivated and driven Business Development Intern to join our fast-growing biotech startup in September 2024 for 6 months in Hamburg. This position offers the opportunity to drive strategic partnerships, expand market reach, and support overall business growth initiatives.

Create models to evaluate business opportunities and provide recommendations based on data.
Assist in creating sales presentations and proposals tailored to potential customers' needs.
Conduct and analyze market research with industry experts and stakeholders to map market entry barriers, government subsidies, and competitive dynamics in a given market.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and other stakeholders to ensure consistent communication and customer satisfaction.
Assist in tracking customer feedback and provide timely updates to the relevant teams.
Participate in customer outreach activities to understand their needs and requests, providing support when necessary.
Support in grant and award applications
Support in conference and fairs participation.

Your profile

Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Previous internship experience in sales and marketing within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and propose innovative solutions.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas effectively.
Self-motivated, highly organized, and detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team, adapting to changing priorities.
Demonstrated passion for biotechnology, food technology, and interest in sustainable food systems.
Great communication skills in English, knowledge of German highly preferred.
